We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our small, friendly, and highly skilled team based in Huddersfield (HD4) for our precsion engineering client.

Hours: 39 per week
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 17:15
Main Responsibilities:
Programme, set, and operate CNC turning centres using Fanuc controls (experience with other systems will also be considered).
Produce high-precision one-offs and small batch components across a wide range of materials, including stainless steels and exotics.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Carry out self-inspection using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and bore gauges.
Work to tight tolerances and maintain high quality standards at all times.
Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment.
Apprentice trained or minimum 3 years’ experience in CNC turning programming, setting, and operating.
Strong knowledge of Fanuc programming, including Manual Guide i.
Proven ability to produce high-quality one-off and small batch precision components.
Confident in quality checking own work and maintaining dimensional accuracy.
Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and maintain a strong attention to detail.
Hourly Rate: £18.00 per hour (minimum)
257 hours holiday (including statutory days)
4-day working week – enjoy long weekends every week!
Overtime available at 1.5x rate when required
